Ashley and Russell Graham!

September 19, 2009......A day anxiously awaited by this couple!

I got the privilege of photographing their wedding! It was a long, but VERY fun day!!!!  They are a beautiful couple and I wanted to share some of my favorite shots from the day!

I will admit, I cried my eyes out when the bride's parents danced and during the father/daughter dance! Her dad had such an amazing accomplishment!  I mean just that morning he was telling me and the husband how his feet were still numb, but he was able to walk his beautiful daughter down the aisle and dance! It was AWESOME!

Anyways! It was a great day and the couple was beautiful!  I wish them the best in their life together!

Hope you all enjoy!!

Life in South LA

Well its been 3 months today (by the time i actually publish this it will probably be 3 months and 1 day) since the most wonderful and sad day of my life. Wonderful because I finally got to marry the cowboy of my dreams! But sad because I knew what came after the honeymoon. Moving. Moving away from my parents, aunt and uncle, brother, and grandparents. And of course all of my friends!  I couldnt tell you how nervous I was about moving to what I felt like was a completely different country.  The hardest part had to be leaving my dad and mom.  Its weird how close we became the three weeks between graduation and wedding!  Enough sad stuff I'm starting to tear up!

Well in my endless search for a job I got bored and started exploring around the town I live in! Upon my journey I discovered Tickfaw state park, a neat water way behind my house, and woods that really make me believe in Terabithia!  Now I just drove through the park so i have no photographs of that yet, but don't you fret! I will have them soon enough!!!!

I thought I would share some of the pictures from by my house! We Louisianaians should be proud of our state! it really is beautiful in its own way!

Enjoy!!!

Rows and Rows of Cypress trees! there's a huge one a little ways down, that I will go explore when it cools off so I won't have to worry about snakes so much!

The neat little water way! I can't wait till it cools off so I can explore some more! I know its kinda dark, but its really quite beautiful! its just like I saw it! The sun was starting to set. Beautiful!

The Terabithia-ish woods!  My friend Angelle would totally appreciate this image because of its Terabithia-ish-ness! Yes i realize those are not words! Still you get the point!

Hope you all enjoy!  Look for future posts of a wedding, a new puppy, and some scenery in the upcoming weeks!!!!!

LogTown Plantation!

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to go to a honey-do shower at Log Town Plantation. I was pleasantly surprised by the rows and rows of corn, anyone who knows me knows I love the country! There's no other place I'd rather be!  This house belongs to some very dear friends of my mom's, that I believe I have known all my life!  I can't remember a time when I did not know them! They are beautiful people and have a beautiful home!  I wanted to share some shots I got to sneak in before the shower began!  I only wish I had more time to shoot! Maybe I will get to go back some day!  I hope you enjoy!
